Ok so my neighbor told me the River Diner is being sold. Is this true?? Please tell me they are keeping the pie recipes, that lemon meringue is the whole reason I go there

Does anyone know if it's true the Hendersons from over in Marsh Creek are the ones buying it? That's what I heard at church.

UPDATE - I actually talked to the current owner today. He confirmed it's sold but said they're closing for a couple weeks to repaint and clean up, reopening in August under the same name. Whew.

That building has changed hands more times than folks remember. Used to be called the Landing Grill back in 79 before it was the River Diner. It'll always be the same booth by the window to me.
