1. Local only. Rivertown and the river valley. If you're a "national wholesaler," this is not your board.
2. One ad, one category. Posting the same thing in three categories gets all three pulled. Pick the best fit.
3. Ads run 45 days, then they're deleted. Gone. Repost if it didn't sell. We don't keep an archive.
4. No dealers/commercial floods. A shop can post an ad like anybody else; twenty ads a week is a catalog, take out a real ad in the Gazette.
5. Price it or say OBO. "DM for price" nonsense gets edited.
6. No pictures. The board doesn't do them (see FAQ for why). Describe it with words, it worked for a hundred years.
7. Nothing illegal, no guns, no puppy mills, no MLM, no "work from home" schemes. Volunteers decide, decisions final.
8. Personals stay wholesome. Pen pals, fishing buddies, reunion contacts. Anything else, there are other websites.
9. Scams: never wire money, never accept overpayment "by mistake." We post warnings in the board news when a new one makes the rounds.

Every posting is looked at by a volunteer before it goes live — that's why it isn't instant. Usually same day. Be patient with us, we do this after supper.
